Presenting to you Cousin Kenny's wedding!! (;

DAY ONE.
I reached my granny’s place in th morning,
Had our lunch and waited for all my relatives to come.
We slept for a while cos we were darn bored.
The adults prepared the food for the buffet.
(It’s a family tradition to do so if someone’s getting married.)
Went to Shirley’s house to visit my most-loved darling,
Jerene, my niece.
She is damn cute la!
But she’s not feeling well so didn’t play much with me.
Cousin Kenny called. Needed help for his bridal car so we drove the car to the floral shop to send it for beautifying.
After that went back to granny’s house as all the guests were coming in.
Had a round of drinks with my cousins and the groom’s friends after dinner,
Then went to my aunt’s house.
Dropped our luggage and brought the kids back home first,
Then off to do our fav thing.
Shopping with my mom, Peggy and Aunt Grace.
Know what’s the best thing you can do in Malaysia?
Midnight shopping madness!
My aunt, mommy and their friend rented a house in Malaysia to make it into a shop!
My mom and I went shopping at her place and I bought a blouse there.
Haha, with super discounts, of course.
Went back home and slept at 2 am.


DAY TWO.

Woke up at 5.30am to help my cousin with his preparations.
Reached at 7 plus.
Saw granny and aunts busy with food preparations.
Cousin’s band of brothers reached at 8.45 am.
Move out at nine to fetch the bride. (Auspicious hour)
Settled the brothers down to have breakfast and pretty their cars in the meantime.
Then they went off at 9.05am.
Ate breakfast and then watched dvds.
Went to Jiu Mu’s room to sleep with all my aunts my mom and my cousin Christine.

Suddenly, sis Shirley barged into the room and screamed.
“who wanna trim brows??”
I jumped outta bed and shouted “ I first! I first”
(Vainity is deadly okay)
After brows trimming, i permed my hair.
I did temp perm.

Went back home.
After serving tea and buffet lunch for guests,
It was finally our turn to eat.
Didn’t take any pics cos we were too famished to. ):
Had a prep chat with my cousins and my cousin’s brothers.
(Ah soon and Ah Xiang and the rest – I cant remb their names)
Got rather pissed cos my perm was dying down after lunch.
That lousy hairdresser didn’t make it curl well.
So I asked Sis Shirley to fetch me to another hairdresser.
The price was steep but I am very very much satisfied! (;
Haha. My hair can bounce bounce one okay!
Pretty little coussie Peggy did her princessy hair.
Make up, dolled up and we were all ready to set out.

Ah soon and Ah Xiang played a bit of disturbance and made me drink before dinner even started.
Bride came,
Peggy Christine and I were in charge of playing “hua tong”
(so funny, all lao hua tongs ald)
Ate a bit only.
The food was damn sucky.
Was drinking most of the time.
Then Ah Xiang and Ah soon came t my table and pulled me t their table and we started drinking.
Massive drinking round 1.
Toastings and toastings,
Bottoms up all the way.
Jie fu was drinking hard liquor so he soon surrendered and got drunk.
After dinner, went back t granny’s house.

Massive drinking round 2.
I was quite into the drinking mood so the alcohol wasn’t a problem.
Drank with my uncles and had a chat with them till my mom came back from the restaurant.
Was pulled out by Kenny cousin to drink with the younger guys.

So from 10.30 – 02.30,
We finished 6 bottles of stout,
5 or 6 bottles of red wine,
27 or 28 cans of beer,
1 bottle of Chivas & 1 bottle of Oxtard.

I was actually feeling quite okay,
Until I see ah soon drunk like dog like that and they still kept forcing him to drink.
So no choice,
I drank for him.
I remembered drinking all the way until that glass of hard liquor.
I ran to the washroom and puked.
They didn’t let me off either,
Made me drink somemore so I asked my uncle to drink on my behalf.
Slept like a log till morning and saw ah soon sleeping in the living room.

DAY THREE.
Came back to Singapore and suffered from the hang-over.
Horrible, splitting headache.

Too little time,
too many things.
School have been seeing too much of me recently.
